The air is getting crisp, the days are getting shorter, and that means one thing: it’s almost tree season! As Christmas season approaches, we are thrilled to welcome new faces and returning families back to Jimmy’s Tree Ranch.
Whether you are looking for the perfect centerpiece for your living room or just want to enjoy a day outdoors with the family, we have everything you need to make the season bright. Here is everything you need to know to plan your visit this year.
🌲 What’s Growing on the Ranch?
We take pride in our trees. Our selection is looking better than ever and the years of planting, trimming, and mowing have paid off. We have a variety of sizes and shapes to fit any home, from cozy apartments, typical 8ft rooms, to vaulted ceilings.
Our Varieties:

Fir - Fraser & Canaan: top Christmas tree choices, both known for great needle retention and strong branches. Fraser is the classic Appalachian favorite with a stronger scent and blue-green color, while Canaan (a Balsam/Fraser hybrid) offers adaptability, excellent shape, and a milder scent, making it a versatile, hardy option.

Norway & Blue Spruce: Norway Spruce offers strong branches for heavy ornaments and a classic triangular shape with dark green, somewhat sharp needles; Blue Spruce (Colorado) is known for its striking blue/silvery hue, pleasant scent, and dense, prickly foliage, holding needles well but requiring careful handling due to sharpness. We recommend extra care with plenty of water and keeping them away from heat sources as needle retention is less than a Fir.

White Pine: Soft needles, great for traditional decorating and planting. We will have more stock soon.

🧣 Tips for Your Visit
To help your trip go smoothly, here are a few things to keep in mind before you head over:

Tagging & Cutting: "We provide the saws or Jimmy will be delighted to cut it for you!" or "Choose a pre-cut tree or head into the fields to cut your own."

What to Wear: The farm can be a little muddy if it has snowed or rained, so we recommend sturdy boots and warm layers. We do have gravel parking.

Payment Methods: We accept [Cash, Credit Cards, Venmo, Checks, etc.].

Pet Policy: We love furry friends! But we do not allow dogs in the fields.
